Nobel photographic exhibition

[version française] On the occasion of its 40th anniversary,the European Science Foundation*, in partnership with the City of Strasbourg and the University of Strasbourg, is honoured to host a photographic exhibition, on loan from the Foundation Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, Germany, of Nobel Laureates taken by the German photographer Peter Badge. Since 2000 he has been commissioned by a number of renowned organisations such as the Deutsches Museum, the Smithsonian Institution, the National Museum of American History, the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C., as well as the Foundation Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings to photograph Nobel Prize laureates, capturing timeless moments through his lens.

 

The exhibition which includes over 50 black and white photographs from the collection is on view at the Hôtel de Ville, salle Conrath, 9 rue Brûlée, Strasbourg, from 24 May to 13 June 2014.

  

Admission and opening times: Free, open daily 11.00–19.00 except on sundays & bank holidays. Please note that the exhibition will be closed Thursday 29 May (Ascension Day) & 9 June 2014 (Whit Monday).
