This interactive timeline has been created to honour ESF's first 40 years by showing, in a visually friendly and dynamic way, its chronological evolution according to the major dates and milestones in ESF’s and European history from 1974 to the present day.
It is interesting to note also how the ESF’s logo has evolved over the years.
The timeline is built in three layers:
- the official milestones that have marked the organisation's history, events and other activities;
- embracing a sample of world events that served as an important backdrop for the birth and early evolution of ESF;
- a list of our distinguished Presidents and Secretaries General / Chief Executives.
